Sometimes I simply know. No image, no sound, no sensation, just certainty arriving, undeniable. Claircognizant information is the hardest to explain and the most trusted once it lands, because it comes without a path, only a truth already assembled.
Clairalience and Clairgustance: Clear Smelling and Clear Tasting
The rarest of the six for me, but unmistakable when they arrive. A specific scent that belonged only to one person, tobacco, a perfume, fresh bread from a kitchen decades gone. A taste that surfaces from nowhere and carries a whole memory inside it. These sensory impressions are some of the most precise evidence spirit offers, because they cannot be guessed or generalised.
The Feeling in the Room
Before any of the clairsenses activate, there is the shift. I feel spirit enter before I perceive anything specific about them. I feel them at my side, close, and I notice whether it’s the left or right. The right hand side is paternal the left is maternal. My skin usually prickles first, and I have learned this is my body’s way of saying someone has arrived and is ready to be heard.
